- Interfacing: 100% cotton interfacing and certified 100% organic cotton wadding.

An ancestral pattern, bold colors, a surprising shape. A piece that doesn't go unnoticed, like a tribute to the continent from which the main fabric originates.
I always hesitate to use wax fabric because I'm not sure if I'm buying it from the right place, and I want to avoid cultural appropriation, a concept I'm sensitive to.
But this piece was sent to me by a fellow seamstress who wanted to share a piece of her culture with me in a mystery swap. So, I took great pleasure in trying to celebrate it as best as I could.
For that, I used a very original backpack pattern in its shape and functional with its volume and various pockets. Its “hanging nose” immediately reminded me of this “Nasique” (Proboscis monkey), and that's how it got its name.
